The Accelerated English Program is a short-term English course provided by Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary. It is designed to build confidence in English communication in a short time. It offers a variety of experiences ranging from cultural interactions to tropical excursions to ministry awareness opportunities.

Three Main Components of AEP

  1. English language skills are enhanced through classroom instruction, one-on-one tutorials, and interaction with students at APNTS.
     - Spoken English course (3 credit units) focuses on pronunciation that communicates in a native speaker manner.
     - Functional English course (3 credit units) focuses on practical applications of the functions of language.
  2. Experience learning in a multi-cultural environment with cultural tours to a variety of places in the Philippines, taste new foods, see new sights, make new friends.
  3. Missions exposure through visits to churches, participation in ministry activities and service and compassion projects.

Cost

US$999.00 includes the following:

  • Tuition for two three-unit college level English courses.
  • Textbooks.
  • Room and Board in Nazareth Hall on the APNTS campus.
  • Manila Tour—including museums, parks, and malls.

Additional tours outside the city to places such as

  • Boracay White Sands beaches
  • Pagsanjan Falls
  • Villa Escudero Resort
  • Hot Springs Resort in Laguna
  • Weekend meals

Requirements

  • High school graduate
  • Valid Passport
  • 59 day tourist visa
